FDOT Contract Provides Training at No Cost to Airports
TUCSON, AZ — Dec. 15, 2011 —Florida Department of Transportation has contracted with SSi, Inc. to provide online security training programs to all Florida public-use airports. Safe funds, generated by United We Stand tag revenues, will be utilized to pay for the program over the next two-years. SSi will be conducting a series of webinar orientations aimed at informing the airport training coordinators on how to get started. Orientations will be scheduled weekly beginning in 2012.
