Manistee County Blacker Airport Losing Only Commercial Airline Service

A Northern Michigan airport’s only commercial airline is flying out of the area — for good.
This spring, Frontier Airlines brought its commercial service to the Manistee County Blacker Airport.
Now, less than six months later, they’re pulling out of the airport — ending all flights in March.
The news comes in wake of the airport’s best summer ever – they had a record 3400 airline passengers last month.
The airport is disappointed to see the service end, but already looking for a new commercial carrier.
