CHARLOTTE, NC – We’ve learned the real story about a stowaway on a flight out of Charlotte could be revealed next week.
A teen died after getting into the wheel well of a flight to Boston last month.
A new theory has emerged that he got onto the tarmac through the inside of the airport.
At least one city leader is warning against speculation.
Charlotte City Councilman Patrick Cannon says “people shouldn’t speculate, rumors shouldn’t start that people just don’t have any idea about, we should really let the investigation take it’s course.”
The TSA is saying the airport is responsible for the perimeter and who goes in and out.
The TSA says its agents simply screen luggage and passengers in the checkpoints.
