A WIDOW managed to get through two passport checkpoints and security at East Midlands Airport while mistakenly using her dead husband’s passport.
Pauline Briggs, from Sheffield, has blonde hair while husband Paul’s was dark, but no one spotted the mistake as she flew out to the Canary islands.
The error was only picked up by security staff on landing in Fuerteventura.
Pauline said: “It was my mistake but I was appalled at the lack of security. It’s not very reassuring.”
